Bliain na Gaelige/ Year of the Irish Language

Rosemary and Owen are delighted to accept an invitation from Mr Reece Smyth ( Chargé d' Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America) to an event at the US Ambassador's Residence  to celebrate Bliain na Gaeilge and the revival of the Irish Language. 

 It promises to be a great night  with performances from well known traditional musicians.

The event will be broadcast by TG4.

Does the absence of an actual seal on a document of Guarantee or Indemnity mean that the document is not executed "Under Seal" or does the fact that the document  recites the words "Signed Sealed and Delivered" without a physical seal mean that it is an instrument under seal for the purpose of section 11 (5)(a) of the Statute of Limitations Act 1957?

Tracker Interest Rate and Fixed Interest Rate Loans

  • Wrongfully applying the incorrect interest rate to your loan/mortgage
  • Wrongfully removing you from your tracker interest rate
  • Wrongfully coercing and cajoling you off a tracker interest rate as part of a “restructure” of your loan or mortgage
  • Wrongfully not renewing your tracker interest rate

'Pestered' customers in new fight against banks

MORE than 100 people who lost hundreds of thousands of euro after they were "badgered" by major banks to make bad financial investments are launching claims against them, a solicitor has revealed.

Owen Swaine from Swaine solicitors in Galway says he has received more than 100 calls from stressed and suicidal people who were pursued by Irish banks to make massive but unwise investments.

Advanced Legal Practice Irish Course / Ardchúrsa Cleachtadh Dlí as Gaeilge

Owen and Rosemary are half -way through the  Advanced Legal Practice Irish Course / Ardchúrsa Cleachtadh Dlí as Gaeilge which is run by The Law Society of Ireland.  

When successfully completed they will be admitted to the Society's Irish Language Register, Clár na Gaeilge (An Dlí Chumann) as solicitors who practice through the Irish Language.
